1. Eligibility

1.1This contest is open to women only.

1.2Entrants must be Indian citizens and must hold valid government-issued proof of Indian citizenship, to be produced on request.

1.3Entrants must be aged 18 to 30 years, both inclusive, as on 26 August 2026. Entries from anyone below 18 will be rejected and the submitted data deleted.

1.4Employees of Jos Alukkas and Vanitha, their group companies, agencies and vendors, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible.

2. How to enter

2.1The entrant must take a photograph of herself at the Onam Selfie Booth at a Jos Alukkas showroom in Palakkad, Thrissur, Alappuzha, Trivandrum or Trivandrum Lulu Mall.

2.2Jos Alukkas jewellery must be worn and clearly visible in the photograph. Entries in which no Jos Alukkas jewellery is visible will not be considered.

2.3The photograph must be published as a public post or reel on the entrant’s own Instagram account, carrying all three hashtags #josalukkas #vanitha #celebrityfacehunt, and must remain public until the campaign concludes.

2.4The entrant must then register at facehunt.josalukkas.online with her name, mobile number, date of birth, the showroom visited, a write-up about herself of not more than 200 words, the link to the Instagram post or reel, a screenshot of that post, and the original photograph for evaluation.

2.5Entries open at 00:00 hrs IST on 10 August 2026 and close at 23:59 hrs IST on 26 August 2026. Entries received outside this window will not be considered.

2.6One entry per person. Duplicate entries, or multiple entries of the same Instagram post, will be consolidated or disqualified at the organisers' discretion.

2.7Entries with a private, deleted or inaccessible Instagram link, or with any of the three required hashtags missing, will not be evaluated.

3. Selection

3.1Entries will be evaluated by an expert panel at Vanitha, which will select one winner to be featured on the cover of Vanitha.

3.2Separately, the Jos Alukkas team will shortlist and select one winner to be the face of the next Jos Alukkas digital campaign.

3.3Selection is based on the panels' assessment of the submitted photograph, the Instagram post and the write-up. The decision of Vanitha and Jos Alukkas is final and binding. No correspondence, appeal or explanation of the decision will be entertained.

3.4The organisers reserve the right not to declare a winner in either category if, in their assessment, no entry meets the required standard.

4. What the winners receive

4.1The Vanitha winner will be photographed by the Vanitha team for a Vanitha cover feature. Scheduling, direction, styling, image selection, final layout and publication date are entirely at Vanitha's editorial discretion.

4.2The Jos Alukkas winner will be photographed by the Jos Alukkas team for a Jos Alukkas digital campaign. Scheduling, direction, image selection, extent of use and duration of use are entirely at Jos Alukkas's discretion.

4.3Nothing beyond clauses 4.1 and 4.2 is offered or implied. There is no cash prize, no modelling contract, no fee, remuneration or royalty, no ongoing engagement, and no assurance of any further work, feature or representation. No cash alternative is available and the prize is not transferable.

4.4Travel, accommodation and personal expenses connected with a shoot are the winner's own responsibility unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

5. Content, ownership and conduct

5.1By entering, the entrant confirms that the photograph and write-up are her own original work, that she is the person shown in the photograph, and that she has obtained the consent of any other identifiable person appearing in the submitted content.

5.2The entrant confirms that the submitted content infringes no third party's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

5.3Any entry containing obscene, indecent, sexually explicit, abusive, defamatory, hateful, misleading or otherwise unlawful content will be immediately disqualified and removed. The organisers reserve the right to report such content to the relevant platform and to the appropriate authorities, and to pursue every legal remedy available to them.

5.4Impersonation, use of another person's photograph, use of AI-generated or materially manipulated images, and any attempt to manipulate engagement metrics will result in disqualification.

6. Consent and use of content

6.1By entering, the entrant consents to being contacted by Jos Alukkas and Vanitha by telephone, SMS, WhatsApp and email in connection with this campaign.

6.2The entrant consents to her submitted photographs and write-up being stored, viewed, evaluated and scored by the panels at Vanitha and Jos Alukkas for the purposes of this campaign.

6.3The entrant grants Jos Alukkas and Vanitha a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and publish her submitted content, her name, and any photographs taken during a resulting shoot, across print, digital, social and in-store media, in perpetuity, without further approval, notice or payment.

6.4Entrant data will be retained for the duration of the campaign and a reasonable period thereafter, and will not be sold to any third party.

7. Limitation of responsibility

7.1Participation is entirely voluntary and at the entrant's own initiative and risk.

7.2Instagram is an independent third-party platform. Neither Jos Alukkas nor Vanitha is responsible for its availability, functioning, policies or actions, including any removal or restriction of an entrant's post or account. This campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta.

7.3Neither Jos Alukkas nor Vanitha accepts responsibility for entries lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted or not received for any reason, including network failure, device failure or technical error.

7.4To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Jos Alukkas nor Vanitha, nor their directors, employees, agencies or vendors, shall be liable for any loss, damage, cost, claim, injury or expense of any kind arising out of or in connection with an entrant's participation in this campaign, her visit to a showroom or selfie booth, her attendance at any shoot, or her acceptance or use of a prize.

7.5Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

8. General

8.1The organisers may amend these terms, alter the timelines, or suspend or cancel the campaign at any time without prior notice, where circumstances reasonably require it.

8.2Entry constitutes acceptance of these terms in full.

8.3These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Thrissur, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
